comments = Words cannot express what I feel about breast implants, or the sinister people who experimented with women when
they sold them to the public hiding the harm they would do. It is criminal, and a disgrace what they have done in the name
of industrial insatiable greed. It borders on female "industrial" genocide, and they want to continue ruining the lives of
our lovely young women here in the U.S.A. and abroad, along with children of women who breast feed! How many generations
will have to be affected before something is done to stop these purpetrator's? They rob the lives of not only the women,
but of their families, and friends. There has been a temendous failure on the part of our government, medical community,
and the public, for support of an issue that someday civilization will recognize as one of the world's greatest tradgedies,
committed in the name of greed. You may reprint my message, if you do not use my name.

comments = I am also a victim of silicone implants. I think the Command
Trust Network recent page they published in major new papers was
an excellent idea. Most are ignorant to the harm of silicone
and think the victims are $$ hungry. I think it would be quite
informative to the everyone of another page add was done listing
the toxic chemicals in silicone implants. When I tell others of
these contents they are amazed. Some have commented that they are surprised these women are not dead from these chemicals.
I think it would open everyone's eyes if they new what these chemicals were. Also, if Dow states silicone does not cause
disease in women, why did they file bankruptcy because too many of the 400,000 women in the original settlement filed for a
disease claim. What does that tell you? Keep of the good work and thanks for all the info you bring to us.

own. I had implants for 10 years- removed rupsured implants in 1994. After the birth of my son which I regret having breast
feed him, my body rapidly felt all the systoms of silicone poisioning.I thought I was giving him a good start to a healthy
body. BREAST IMPLANTS WHAT A MISTAKE!!!! Please let everyone know the danger.

comments = I am on my fifth implant in my left breast as a result of birth defects. I had my first implant at the age of
16, thinking then that I would finally be normal. A very important thing to be when you'r 16. I have of course had
subsequent implants as my right breast has grown. I am now 33 and its too late for me. I want to have my implant
explanted but cannot afford the surgery, which my insurance carrier will not pay for even though the original surgery was
to correct a birth defect. I am also afraid of what the result of the explanation might be. I thank God for a loving and
supportive husband and family. I'm also sick and tired of being "sick and tired." I'd like to hear from others especially
in the Middle Georgia with similiar experience. God Bless you all.

always been leery of the subject, now I know for sure that God made us who we are small or large and having my life and my

be made known to the public, especially to men, who are encouraging
their girlfriends and such to get them. They obviously don't know the effects
or they wouldn't be offering to have the person whom they care about get nasty oozing shit for breasts. thankyou.

comments = I think that implants can be safe if made from saline. My mother had Dow silicone implants since 1969 and had
them removed 1 year ago due to pain and disfiguration and suspicion of cancer. When the surgeon went in to remove her
breasts, both implants had been torn and ruptured. Her health has been deteriorating for many years, but doctors now won't
admit or deny that it has been caused by her ruptured implants. I feel that 90% of her illnesses and pain have been caused
by this, but we have not been able to find a doctor that deals with these problems. If anyone out there has any
suggestions, please let me know. I hope that women will take a long hard look at the issues involved here before altering
their breast, even if it is medically necessary.

they implanted these toxic devices should be held accountable for murder. I feel there is no difference between taking a
loaded gun and killing them then the tragedy we are forced to live with daily. Unfortunately I am to ill to continue to run
the support groups and fight with the FDA but would love to correspond with other silicone sisters in the country. I am
enclosing my e-mail address so we can communicate. I also am on chemo therapy for lupus, scleroderma and am having some
fairly good results. I also have been taking propulsid and prilosec with excellant results on the gi tract. I have found
absolutely no pain medication that works and gave up trying. I am willing to sure all the info I have obtained over the
years and on various medications that I have tried and the results. All we can do is hope and pray that someone will
someday come up with a way to cleanse our bodies of these toxic substances. Thanks and best of luck. Judy

comments = 20 months ago I had Silicone Breast Implantation. I had heard the horror stories that women with Silicone
Implants had endured but very little about Saline Implants. My mother, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and several friends
had had Silicone Implants with no problems (atleast none they were aware of yet...) Less than a year after implantation I
started experiencing a burning sensation down the left side of my body. The doctors were grasping at straws to determine
it's cause...an injury from moving furniture (their solution a splint and rest for a week or two), a possible stroke (no
that wasn't it) a heart condition (several expensive tests later...no that's not it) after 6 months of this discomfort I
was forced to admit that my left breast was "shrinking". I visited with my surgeon who confirmed that the implant was
infact leaking but insists that it is not the cause of my "burning" and discomfort. Now, in addition to missed work,
frustration, and medical bills I have a choice to make...have the implant removed and replaced (at my expense) or have them
removed (at my expense). I knew that the implants were not permanent but did not anticipate the requirement of additional
surgey after only 1 year (and at my expense as the manufacturer's (McGhan) allowance will cover only a portion of my
surgery and only after I have sent the implant to be sterilized and then sent to McGhan for their inspection. Who knows
how long that could take...and if the implant is the cause of the burning, will it stop once the implant has been replace?
It is a shame that our society has come to this...the demands are put on women today are so unrealistic "I can bring home
the bacon, fry it up in a pan (raise the kids, clean the house...) and never him forget he's a man (and look like I just
stepped out of a salon and the gym while performing this multitude of tasks) O.K. I'll get off my "soap box" but
seriously, I would appreciate any words of wisdom (my e-mail address is D'LynEads@aol.com) and to those of you considering
implants do your research...it's not worth the frustration and hassle...there are too many other ways to boost our self
esteem (and most of them are alot less expensive and will last longer) Thanks!#top

effects on my health.
I am 20 years old and do not want to do something to my body that could ruin my health and cripple me for life. However,
this page focuses on silicone implants and does not talk about saline or the new vegetable oil implants. I would very much
like non-biased information on these. Before I even consider going through with the surgery, I need to know more. I want to
know what the bag itself is made of in these new vegetable oil implants, and if it has been found to cause the ailments
suffered by women with silicone and saline implants. If any information is available about this, I have listed my email
address.

comments = I had no idea that implants were causing so many problems. Call me naive, but I didn't know. I just had no
idea. I used to be self-conscious and thought that my breasts were small. My boyfriend could tell you. I'm a 36c and I
thought that was too small! How stupid was I to believe society. I'll be honest. I thought about getting them. the only
thing that probabaly stopped me was the fact that I could not afford them. I am so glad that I know what I know now. This
taught me that I should reseach everything thoroughly, no matter what the situation may be. I am so sorry that you are ill
and that you have to deal with this. By you telling your story, you are preventing a large amount of women from making a
deadly and grave mistake. It takes courage and heart to do what you are doing, God knows that the manufacturers didn't do
it. Thnak you so much. I will continue to think about you and pray for you.
"For I know the pans that I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you
a hope and a future." -Jeremiah 29:11-NKJV I look at this verse everyday, it keeps me holding on to the promise. God
Bless You Gloria.

comments = I'm really glad that sites like this one exist. I am appaled
at the fact that women are still getting implant besides all the
controversy and likely health problems. These women are either
stupid or have really low self esteem. I was watching a
talk show about BIs and received a great shock when a woman who
works as a nurse, said that she gave her daughter breast implants
as her highschool graduation present. I thought to myself, "What
is she thinking???" I myself am very flat but would never even
consider such a stupid action. I'm not willing to give up my
health (or perhaps even my life) for a few years of curviness.
I am only 19 and I can't comprehend that mature women are doing
this to themselves even when there is proof of the health risks.
There are so many women arrogant of the facts and they need to
be informed. I applaud you in your effort. They should also
know that they should be proud of the way they are. Men aren't
as into breasts as they appear. At least that's what my personal
experience shows. I'm flat and I've never had a shortage of
admirers. Women are more critical of themselves than men are
and money grubbing doctors are aware of this fact and they take
advantage of women's insecurities.

made the decision to get it (I could have gone back for adjustments, but I didn't) I don't like it! I had the silicon
implant removed in '96 and I did not know it had ruptered. I found out just before entering the hospital that I had a
latex allergy (Type I reactions) which is a systemic potentially life-threatening allergic reaction. I strongly believe
this allergy was caused by the silicon.
